Taking the cue from his forefathers before him; (Mancuso, Levan, Arthur Russell, Ron Hardy, The Symlonylon crew), Spacey crafts deeps mixes that cram together late 70’s – mid 90’s NYC, Chicago, and Detroit streetsounds along with new music that takes inspiration from those scenes. There were no boundaries then, and he continues to show that there are bridges in all music, as well as all of humanity if you look and listen hard enough. In addition to ONLY using vinyl, Sis also has other tricks in his arsenal. Using dubwise studio techniques live, along with effect pedals, keyboards, drum machines & even sometimes a homemade Theremin, Sis is looking to redefine what a natural (NO digital mp3 horseshit) DJ can do when there are no restrictions on party, sound, or scene. NYC needs to find its own identity again.
